Isn't this dollhouse office too cute? All those details... I would gladly take the same in full size :)
The "office" was created by Finnish stylist Jenni Jurinen for the Never Never Land exhibition in Helsinki. This exhibition is dedicated to design for kids and features imaginative and playful works by various Finnish artists and designers. Until Feb 28th at gallery Lokal.

I see watercolours everywhere right now, not only on paper but also on tableware, textile and wallpaper... Here comes a little selection.

Today I'm taking you for another little walk through Casa Decor, the design event in Madrid that I visited a few weeks ago together with TriitMe (you'll find my 1st post here).

You might say that Spanish design is very far from my usual Scandinavian style... Well, yes and no. I saw some interiors that I loved, and I also saw some that were very far from my own taste. It was actually quite often a detail or a corner that caught my attention. In any case, seeing something different from what I usually see on fairs and design events in Scandinavia felt like a real breath of fresh air!

Le style vintage avait aussi la côte...
The vintage style also seemed quite popular...

Et parfois déco et art se confondent...
And sometimes, interior design and art blend together...

I found Javier Atela's concept amusing - he turns your kid's drawing into a real work of art by blowing it up and adding colour.

I've finally had the time to sort my photos from Maison&Objet! As I was part of the jury for the award Les Découvertes, I spent most of my time in hall 6 - Home accessories/Moving, the area that had been assigned to me. Besides my design crush to which I gave my award, here are some other nice finds that I also made along the way...
