As I told you in the last post, I had the pleasure of working together with three beautiful Swedish brands at Maison & Objet: Fine Little Day, Kajsa Cramer and Ylva Skarp. For their first participation at the Paris fair, they had the excellent idea of exhibiting together in one booth and thus creating a bigger impact. Not to talk about how much easier and fun it is as a group :)

If you're not yet familiar with these brands, now's your chance to get to know them better. And for those who are already fans, take a closer look at their autumn news because they are definitely worth it. I'll present them one by one, so first out: Fine Little Day!

 Comme je vous ai dit dans le dernier post, j'ai eu le plasir de travailler avec trois belles marques suédoises à Maison & Objet: Fine Little Day, Kajsa Cramer et Ylva Skarp. Pour leur première participation au salon parisien, elles ont eu l'excellente idée d'exposer ensemble sur un même stand et par conséquent, créer un plus grand impact. Sans parler du fait que c'est bien plus facile et fun à plusieurs :)

 Si vous ne connaissez pas encore bien ces trois marques, voici votre chance de les découvrir. Et pour ceux qui sont déjà fans, jetez un oeil sur leurs nouveautés automne/hiver parce qu'elles valent vraiment le coup. Je les présenterai une par une, alors d'abord: Fine Little Day!


Fine Little Day started out as a blog 2007, by artist and photographer Elisabeth Dunker. Today the brand offers a wide range of products, from textile to posters, created by their own design studio in Göteborg lead by Elisabeth Dunker and Ulrika E. Engberg. With the Scandinavian nature as main source of inspiration, their design is characterized by its simple aestetics, expressive patterns and cheerfulness. Fine Little Day also strives to use sustainable and organic materials where feasible.

Fine Little Day a commencé en 2007 par le blog d'Elisabeth Dunker, artiste et photographe. Aujourd'hui la marque propose une large gamme de produits, du textile aux posters, créée par leur propre studio design à Göteborg, dirigé par Elisabeth Dunker et Ulrika E. Engberg. Avec la nature scandinave comme principale source d'inspiration, leur design se distingue par son esthétique simple, ses motifs expressifs et sa gaieté. Fine Little Day s'efforce aussi d'utiliser des matériaux organiques et durables dès que possible.


The new collection is called Water Lilies and is inspired by a photo taken by Elisabeth Dunker. This is more "grown-up" pattern than the previous ones, still they can all easily be mixed. Water Lilies comes as cushion cover, table cloth, tea towel, napkin, table runner, wool blanket, poster, card and fabric by the meter. 

La nouvelle collection s'appelle Water Lilies (Nénuphares) et s'inspire d'une photo prise par Elisabeth Dunker. Ce motif est un peu plus "adulte" que les précédents, pourtant il peut facilement s'associer aux autres motifs. Water Lilies est disponible en housse de coussin, nappe, torchon, serviette, chemin de table, plaid en laine, poster, carte et tissu au mètre.

Fine Little Day also offers products from other designers in their online shop, like this wonderful handmade ceramic mobile by San Francisco based designer Sofia Nohlin.
