I'm a big fan of Elfa's shelving system because it corresponds to what I'm looking for: simple, flexible and timeless quality design, a product that I never grow tired of, regardless of trends and my own changing taste.

With this system you can easily build a storage that fits perfectly with the available space and your needs. Another great thing is that you only need to drill holes for the top track which supports the hang standards. Then just click shelves, drawers and more into place. You can also mount the wallbands directly on the wall, which is ideal for sloping ceilings for example.

Elfa's range can be divided into three categories: a drawer system, a shelving system and made to measure sliding doors. All three can be combined and customized in order to suit your specific needs.

Above are a few examples of how you can use Elfa's products in the kitchen, whether you create a complete storage solution with sliding doors or go for a smaller wall storage with shelves, boxes and hooks.

Last week the 20th edition of Maison & Objet took place here in Paris. As usual I spent quite a few hours strolling down the aisles, trying to get a good look at the latest design news. You've probably already seen lots of pictures from the fair on other blogs so I won't bore you with an endless article here, but just show you some of my own favourites. I'm always on the lookout for Scandinavian brands, so you will find many of those here below, but not only... Come along for a walk!
