I'm working on several new projects at the moment, which means less time for the blog... But I'm still here :)
Spotted this lovely attic apartment for sale on ESNY today. Lots of great art helps keeping the style fairly personal, at least for a place that has been styled to be sold. The grey-white-black palette is warmed up by natural materials like wood, leather, terracotta and sheepskin, as well as soft textiles and green plants. Details in chrome and brass create a nice contrast.
I love the colour of the kitchen doors btw, which looks very much like the "denim drift" shade that was just elected Colour of the Year 2017 by AkzoNobel (Dulux, Nordsjö...)

Aujourd'hui, j'ai repéré ce chouette appartement en vente sur ESNY. Les nombreux oeuvres d'art font que le style reste assez personnel, en tout cas pour un appartement qui a été mis en scène pour être vendu. La palette en gris-blanc-noir est réchauffée par des matériaux naturels tels que bois, cuir, terracotta et peau de mouton, ainsi que des textiles doux et des plantes vertes. Des détails en chrome et laiton créent un joli contraste. 
J'adore la couleur des portes de cuisine d'ailleurs, qui ressemble beaucoup au teinte de "gris-bleu" qui vient d'être élue Couleur de l'Année 2017 par AkzoNobel (Dulux, Nordsjö...).

Marianne Ström is a Swedish art historian and photographer with a passion for the Marais area in Paris where she lives since 40 years. Her archives count some 12000 photos of the area, some of which have been published in one of her many books.
Now some of Marais' fascinating architectural history - details such as wall paintings as seen through Marianne Ström's lens - has been printed on trays made of Swedish birch by a small family manufacturer in Sweden.

From today and until Sunday 5th of June, there is an exceptional sale of the trays at Nørdik Mårket in the Marais. Also, on Thursday 2nd of June, 6-8.30pm, you are invited for a drink with us at the shop! Marianne Ström will be present, so will I, and you'll get the opportunity to discover not only the trays (some with Swedish motives too), but also the rest of the beautiful Scandi selection at Nørdik Mårket. Marianne Ström est une historienne de l'art et photographe suédoise, passionnée du quartier du Marais à Paris où elle vit depuis 40 ans. Ses archives comptent quelque 12'000 clichés sur le Marais, dont certains ont été publiés dans l'un de ses nombreux ouvrages.
Maintenant, une partie de la fascinante historire architecurale du Marais - des détails tels que des peintures murales vus à travers l'objectif de Marianne Ström - a été imprimée sur des plateaux de bouleau suédois, fabriqués de façon artisanale par une entreprise familiale en Suède.

A partir d'aujourd'hui et jusqu'au dimanche 5 Juin, une vente exceptionnelle de ces plateaux a lieu chez Nørdik Mårket dans le Marais. Aussi, le jeudi 2 Juin de 18h-20h30, vous êtes invités à venir prendre un verre avec nous à la boutique! Marianne Ström sera présente, moi aussi, et vous aurez l'occasion de découvrir non seulement les plateaux (certains avec des motifs suédois aussi), mais également le reste de la belle sélection scandi chez Nørdik Mårket. Artilleriet is a fantastic interior design shop located on the Swedish west coast, in Gothenburg. In order to celebrate 5 years of existence, they just opened Artilleriet Studio, a whole apartment decorated with the most perfect mix of old and new. The exhibition is open until 29th of October so don't miss out if ever you're visiting Gothenburg before that. And if not, here are some beautiful pictures to be inspired by, shot by Johanna Bradford (and you'll find a few more on her blog). Love the rugs, the dark walls, the brass desk, the picture wall and the velvet chairs!

Today I'm feeling inspired by Danish photographer Ditte Isager's home and studio in Copenhagen. A personal and creative interior, just as I like it. Here you can read more details about her home and if you want to see more of Ditte's work, you'll find her beautiful portfolio here.

Raw walls, beautiful wide floor planks, dark veneer elements and a few industrial details make this space feel more like New York than Stockholm. Still that's where this two storey flat is located, for sale here. Love this kind of cosy minimalism.
