How to make a white kitchen look welcoming and cosy? By adding natural materials, greenery, warm (and trendy) colours and materials like grey and copper, or by working with shapes and structures... Daniella Witte created these inspiration pictures for the previous issue of Swedish Elle Decoration and I'm so happy she just uploaded the photos to her portfolio too! With a natural colour palette in wood, black and white, you can gather quite a lot of items without making a cluttered impression. Take this apartment for example, located in Malmö, Sweden, and belonging to an interior designer. I fell for the dining room with its large windows, open shelving, green plants and mix of chairs around the table. You can see more pictures here.

I spotted a lot of round, soft and cosy shapes at the latest fairs in Paris and Stockholm earlier this year. Here are a few examples... (and I so want to curl up in that armchair from By Lassen!)
