In a future life when I have loads of money, I will have a pied-à-terre like this one in Stockholm. Super optimized, the flat contains one bedroom and two sleeping lofts, a reasonably sized kitchen and living room plus built-in storage, and all this on only 50 sqm (for once I have even included the floor plan below). Perfect for meeting up with friends and family for a weekend! On top of that, it's located on Söder, my favourite area in Stockholm. For sale here.

Dans une vie future quand j'aurai des tonnes d'argent, j'aurai un pied-à-terre comme celui-ci à Stockholm. Hyper optimisé, l'appartement comprend une chambre plus deux couchages en mezzanine, une cuisine et un salon de taille tout à fait correcte et aussi des rangements intégrés, le tout sur seulement 50 m2 (pour une fois, j'ai même inclus le plan ci-dessous). Parfait pour se retrouver entre amis ou en famille le temps d'un weekend! De plus, il est situé à Söder, mon quartier préféré à Stockholm. Raw walls, beautiful wide floor planks, dark veneer elements and a few industrial details make this space feel more like New York than Stockholm. Still that's where this two storey flat is located, for sale here. Love this kind of cosy minimalism.

Raw, modern and unique were the key words when this Danish family decided to build their dream house. The result is a four storey building in concrete, wood and glass with a rather minimalist expression. I'm a big fan of the beautiful wooden planks from Dinesen which have been used not only as flooring but also to create the stairs and some of the furniture, eg. dining table, bed and bathroom storage.

Brut, moderne et unique étaient les mots clés lorsque cette famille danoise a décidé de faire construire sa maison de rêve. Le résultat est un bâtiment de quatre étages en béton, bois et verre avec une expression plutôt minimaliste. Je suis une grande fan du superbe plancher en bois de chez Dinesen, dont les planches n'ont pas seulement été utilisées au sol mais aussi pour créer l'escalier et une partie du mobilier, notamment la table à manger, le lit parental et le mobilier de la salle de bain.

After a hectic last week which left little time for blogging unfortunately, we finally traveled up to Sweden yesterday. Now I'm just going to enjoy a week of doing nothing besides playing board games, reading books, putting on five kilos thanks to my mum's cooking and then taking long walks in the countryside trying to get rid of the same kilos.
