I'm a big fan of Pia Wallén's design and right now there's a great article about her in the always so inspiring magazine Milk Decoration. And icing on the cake, La Maison d'Anna G. is mentioned as her only retailer in France! You'll find the famous Cross blankets and trays here.

Je suis une grande fan du design de Pia Wallén et en ce moment, il y a un chouette article sur elle dans le toujours très inspirant Milk Decoration. J'aime bien la façon dont on a utilisé la couleur dans cet appartement à Malmö: des petites touches de rose et d'orange vifs sur un fond neutre, avec une déco murale en noir&blanc qui empêche l'ensemble de devenir trop "mignon". J'aime bien aussi le mélange de métal chaud et froid: laiton et acier.

I like how colour has been used in this flat in Malmö: small splashes of bright pink and orange on a neutral backdrop, with black&white wall art that keeps it all from getting too "sweet". Also like the mix of warm and cold metals: brass and steel.

Aujourd'hui j'ai un coup de foudre pour cette maison fabuleuse dans le sud de la Suède! J'adore la palette de fond en noir&blanc, les vitrines anciennes en bois, le carrelage blanc, les photos d'art, le hamac, la peinture blanche coulante sur le mur noir, le moodboard du bureau, et les plantes vertes qui donnent vie à l'ensemble.

Le plaid Crux, créé par Pia Wallén en 1991, faisait longtemps parti de ces produits dont je rêvais mais qui était toujours hors de mon budget. Quand Pia Wallén a lancé le plaid Cross en coton, beaucoup plus abordable, j'étais ravie. Et quand j'ai pu l'avoir pour mon shop, j'étais aux anges ;)
